We didn't found Luota because we were new to the industry. We founded it because we knew it inside out. After years of building influencer campaigns and leading traditional influencer marketing agencies, we saw the same challenge repeatedly: brands were investing significant budgets, yet influencer selection was still largely driven by intuition rather than objective evidence. We believed the industry deserved a better standard.

What frustrated us even more was the industry's unwillingness to take responsibility when campaigns underperformed. Instead of analysing the decisions that had been made, poor results were often blamed on the creator or on the platform's algorithm. In no other area of marketing is failure routinely attributed to someone else. We believed influencer marketing should be held to the same standard of accountability, where decisions are measured, analysed and continuously improved.

That belief became Luota Agency

When we started developing Luota AI, many people were sceptical that influencer marketing could ever become truly data-driven. Today, many of those same companies describe their own services in a similar way. We don't see that as a disappointment. We see it as proof that the industry is moving in the right direction.

We have never wanted to keep that progress to ourselves. Our ambition has always been to help raise the standard of the entire industry. That is why Luota Agency is an active partner of Marketing Finland, and our CEO serves as a member of its Influencer Marketing Working Group, helping develop more transparent, measurable and trusted standards for influencer marketing.
